Southwest Valley Chamber of Commerce - Event Information
Hometown Christmas Parade
The Hometown Christmas Parade is an old-fashioned community event for the whole family. Churches, businesses and other community groups from all over the valley are invited to participate and attend this very special parade. The parade will take place in downtown Glendale on Saturday, December 14th, starting at 11AM. The route begins at 51st Avenue and Glendale Avenue, then proceed west on Glendale to 58th Avenue.
The Hometown Christmas Parade is produced by the non-profit organization Glendale Christmas Parade, which is made up of community members. There are many ways to get involved with this event: parade entry (float, singing group, etc.), volunteer, committee member, and community sponsor.
The Hometown Christmas Parade supports Operation Santa Claus and also focuses on collecting non-perishable food items for Hope for Hunger, a Glendale based food bank. Hope for Hunger appreciates your support, especially around the holidays! Please visit the website for details on how you can contribute to the food drive, both during and prior to the parade: https://www.hcparade.org/food-drive
